Hardly call Luck in Poker a strategy or even attempt to calculate, but what is it?
A short term skill experienced by players who use implied odds more then pot or expected values. I am going to try to demonstrate how you can put yourself in to a situation to give you “luck”.

people who think of themselves as lucky are more likely to win the lottery than those who don’t
not because they’re better at picking winning lottery numbers
but because they’re more likely to buy tickets.

Last night I go on Players Cardroom to watch Pinky play the HoldemRadio freeroll which she cashed out in,  when I noticed appers in a PL Omaha tournament.  To my joy there was late registration so I bounced into that game and glad I did…

I posted in the forum about playing some ring tables tonight and headed to the tables
decided on some PL Holdem simply because I know WyldBillH doesn’t like it
The reasoning I later found out was “the pots get to big to fast”.

I’ll start at the end of the night.  I played just shy of 3 hours on the .05/.10 PL Holdem

While sitting at a PL Holdem Cash table waiting for some A3 members to join me for a nightly ring session
on Players Cardroom I decided to get back to the game I truly enjoy.  PL Omaha!!

It was a mere $1 BuyIn with 20 entrants, so a small field for the small buyin.
