Been on a down swing for the past week / few tournaments not playing to much just enjoying the off time from poker. Which is good for you to do, take breaks away from the game but when you come back to the felt it is nice to get things on an up swing early.
I finally got back into my up swing on Players Cardroom
We had Assistanc3Online League game tonight, $2 buyin with rebuys. Played a decent game getting to the final table but couldn’t make much off that, specially after flopping a straight to get rivered by a full house.
Out in 9th of 19 and I think I moved down the poker league ladder.
Tougher season this time around which is making it harder for me to defend my championship from Event1.
At the same time as my game Brannie had her Witches Brew game which I played. This game was interesting as I played basic ABC poker with the odd steal from a feel till we were late final table.
I started making moves and cracked Aces for a monster suck out but that came back around in the final hand of the night. We were heads up and the blinds still small. I raised pre flop and got re-raised, so I pushed over the top and the fish calls with pocket sixes and hits his 6 on the river vs Queens.
$22 for 2nd/15
I watched you play the final table of the Witches Brew game, and you did a fabulous job coming from behind.
That last call was really gross, pocket sixes should have never called that reraise, but that’s my opinion.
I’m glad you enjoyed some time away from the felt, and it’s nice to see you back.
Congrats on the cash and oooh btw, you maintained your position on the poker league ladder
not paying attention did pay off as I didn’t notice it was final table or really see people getting knocked out.. Basic ABC poker and when I got a decent hand I calculated the risks vs the players at the table.
Would have been nice if those queens held up
