the Donkey of Poker

It was a rolling of the red carpet and the 72 tonight in Ray’s 2 Year Anniversary of his poker site, pokerfriends.  The two was for the the years and the seven is the amount of shots I took before this game.  It was an adventure and I even did an offer to chop which I have actually never done before.  Did it go to a chop or the river?

twinsie and I did a poker lesson running into the game, which she was multi tabling in another so the lesson was about focusing on playing not the cards  Where we just chatted and slung a few shots back in celebration of my own sites 1 year anniversary and Ray’s 2 years.  Lots to celebrate and I worked hard and earned a bit of a break.

No I didn’t change up my game any in the is 10 player freezeout, we started 5 on each table for late registration….for the million.  A million or $80 bucks prize pool you can take a stab at which to make the call at, and omg speaking of calls that was a thorn in my ass all night came down to the wire but we should kick this off with some blind on blind action.

Battle vs LenMcRiddle

LenMcRiddle was to my right after Ray decided to leave us and um play in the corner.

Limp check call……..all night, was even saying in chat box “len len len” “sigh” stuff like that wondering why the over so aggressive Len is not raising my blinds?  Well it came back to bite him in the heehawww and when he decided to call his K4 vs my turned 2 pair.  Gave me a commanding chip lead where I got to exploit my stack.

Putting on the Pressure or Pain?

I put some pressure on the rest of the table, even got a little peeved the other side of the felt was calling my bluffs down.  “yes yes, that is part of the plan, guess what I am thinking  now Pinky?”  Pinky responds with ” I dunno brain, dancing around in a tu-tu listening to Britney Spears?“……………..grrrr don’t ya just love when the plan makes so much sense, but only in your own mind.

We Got a Bubble Girl

The game goes on and twinsie is being the new thorn on the bubble, we are trying to shake her loose so the guys can finish up this game.  She takes down another pot but in the end our stacks just to much for the blinds that are to fast for her.  On the rail on the bubble twinsie goes but was a lot of fun getting there ; )

Sliding Stacks Final Three

I started off testing the waters with my uber stack and peeling off some chips from Caporal and Shane.  Pretty sure I let them two battle it out before Shane made his exit in 3rd.  Was a solid game and would have been interesting if he had held on just a little bit longer.  It was any ones game…for second place that is.  I had something to prove tonight.

Heads Up

Caporal and I went heads up in a battle that was not pretty.  I scored a blind off him and when he raised the next hand all-in.. I offered to “chop” yeop that is how u can tell I wasn’t sober, offering to give away money.  The reply was “lol” so I called with my KQ to his Ax and I hit the King on the river.

I had a lot of fun in this game, playing the 72 as often as I got it
