PL Omaha Position and Outs

Busted Out in CPC#2

I got an email the other day about PKR having some special tournaments set up, the Canadian Poker Championship (CPC), with a number of games being guaranteed money.  Usually PKR games that are big games are not Canadian friendly time, they made these ones friendly.  I was only interested in one game, $2000 GTD PLO.

Running on Empty Rough Day

Rough day today and its only 5pm.  It started off great after almost tripling up at a cash table, ended up leaving with two times my buyin and from there I thought today was gonna be another great day… turned out to be far from it.

Beating Rake Omaha Hi/Lo

Players will often say that Omaha Hi / Lo for online poker is a tough game to play because the amount of split pots will have you losing money in the long run because of rake.  How this is correct is identified by how bad the player really is, either by playing bad cards or not having the courage to play a big pot.
