Value Betting the River

The difference between making money consistently and breaking even/losing players is taking advantage of Value Betting situations mostly commonly found on the river.  Why are we not Value Betting?  Is it because your afraid of the dreaded re-raise or you feel the pot is big enough that a check down with your marginal potential winning hand is risky as it is?  Lets explore what a value bet is and how we can take advantage of making money on the poker table.

Free Money at the Tables

Slow Playing on the Button

How often have you read on a forum post “don’t slow play aces”, Why not?
Whats wrong with slow playing a big hand, being in any position for that matter but of all positions playing a big hand on the button has its advantages to slow play.

A big hand for this lesson is going to be example:
AA-to-AQs for Holdem and AAKK-to-AKsQJs for Omaha High
