Was a big weekend of big games for Sunday.
Carbon Poker $50k and MiniSOP Event #53 were the two big games I had scheduled to take part while mixing in some cash table, Black Jack and Roulette… the adventures of a donkey and a dream continues.
I blogged the $77 Carbon Cash Table which was played after playing some $25 Black Jack which wasn’t to nice to me or I just got to greedy. I should set a limit of how high I should leave after being up but who likes to leave on a wining streak. That is difficult thing to adjust to but should actually be part of your cash table strategy too.
Sunday was the Carbon $50k which was annoying to begin with as the other players at the table can see that I had gained my entry to a $109 buyin tournament with a ticket. I could also see another player had used points and one more won a seat. Giving away info on players before the game has even started doesn’t seem right to me.
Card Dead was the name of this game which didn’t help me as I had the two aggressive players to my right stealing every 3rd pot. Then on top of that when ever I put in a raise it was stolen, possibly cause they see I didn’t buy in and I would be as my normal tight game is, see that as I didn’t have funds to rebuy. I had the funds but seemed pointless at break. Still to me it was a $50,000 freeroll just wish I could have got cards worth playing.

Entered the $2,500 Freeroll Feeder satellite which was kinda funny. I always get a little laugh at people who call me a donkey at the poker table. It is not like I don’t hide it. So I get my ticket with relative ease and will be playing that on Tuesday.
FullTilt Event #53 Stud Hi/Lo was a little mixed blessing. I didn’t make the money, came close and probably would have if not for the perfect 7th Street card my opponent got in a $21k pot that made him a straight and a better low to scoop. 196th of 1089
It all wasn’t bad, I did preform the biggest bluff in a Limit Stud game. Now I will have to admit bluffing in a 4 way pot is not the wisest of poker moves, but it does take a bit of image and table respect to pull it off. I did not really have any in this hand as it was very early in the tournament but none the less It Worked.

Hmm studly move there with that bluff.
Stud is still way too over my head, too many cards out there to have to remember who has what,’n where’n why, you get what I mean.
As far as Carbon putting it on display how people got into a tournament, that seems unfair to me. It’s no ones business how you got there and gives those with a huge bankroll an unfair advantage I would think…
I’ll see you at the $2500 feeder tomorrow
Oh and btw, love, love, love the way the new images are viewed, you can even jump back and forth from image to image without closing each one. Good stuff!
I watched you play for a little whle @ carbon.. Sad state of affairs when the cards just aren’t there.
My rule of thumb when I am up @ any table/any game is the double-trouble rule. When I” double” get off the site B4 I run into trouble.
The bluff in the stud game.. The stud in the bluff game.. lol.. 4 is better than 3..You just never cease to amaze me and get away with it!!
